Greetings Folks!

 

   My name is Dominic Woodhouse, creator of SparkBoy and the Team Honour characters. I am a filmmaker and a film enthusiast, who graduated in Animation in 2017 at Norwich University of the Arts plus VFX in Composting at Escape Studios, Pearson College, London in 2019 . I specialised in stop-motion and 2D animation, and have great interest in pushing myself to experiment and build up an armoury of different animation solutions. Stop-motion brings a personal honesty to the screen, a handmade feel which reflects my imagination and personality. I am a former member who in the National Youth Film Academy who succeeded in the Set Ready Course; twice in both 2019 and 2022. 

     

  While at university, taking the role as a student PAL mentor, it helped me understand the importance of working in a team, as well as sharing ideas. There my quest, for animation and film, is not only to just entertain audiences the world over but also to introduce these amazing characters who are based on my emotions , childhood experiences and lessons learnt through civilization.

    I haven't done much 2D animations for a while as I am currently practice a lot in my spare time,  developing and designing illustrations based on a certain theme more than just superhero genre. Here I'm creating a series of illustrations including my fable idea: Catstantinople. I also have however a talent in me writing scripts and currently working on a series of action-packed stories entitled Kenji & the Fem Fighters which one day be published into a book.

   My skills in developing animation, illustration and film editing are mostly on Adobe, where I use all sorts of software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro.  My writing skills is done all on Microsoft Word and Excel.
